The harmonizing vocal group called Diamond Heart was originally made up of three female friends who enjoyed using their unique talents to perform and entertain their audiences. As the harmonies and stage presence were developing they added a male guitarist/vocalist to give the sound a more diverse and full feeling.

Not set in any particular style, they lend their talents to a wide range of music including country, pop, and rock. They enjoy performing the music they heard and loved when they were younger as well as songs they hear on the radio today. Their repertoire includes music from the Beatles, Sheryl Crow, the Dixie Chicks and Sarah McLaughlin, to name but a few. Some crowd favorites are "Brown Eyed Girl", "Mustang Sally", "Friends in Low Places", "Goodbye Earl" and "Picture".

The group now consists of two full time female singers and one male vocalist, but they always have a guest female vocalist to ensure that the full harmonizing sound and magic is not lost during their performances.

Michele, a transplanted Maritimer provides the lead vocals. Her dynamic voice lends itself well to the harmonies of the group. Her bubbly personality and outgoing energy provide a focal point for audience attention and interaction.

Keyboard and background harmonies are provided by Helen. She brings over twenty years of musical experience in both teaching and performing to the group. With her classical training, Helen brings musical and vocal strength to the group's arrangements.

Ron provides rhythm guitar and vocals for the group. Ron handles all of the lead vocals on the Garth Brooks and Brooks & Dunn type songs, as Ron is just a good old country boy at heart.

Diamond Heart has performed and been received well at fairs, clubs, charitable events, and various other functions. They have recently started appearing in bars and casinos. They are continuously working hard at building and maintaining a large music base to please all types of audiences and improving on their already tight harmonies and stage presence.
