| It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 151st edition of the Metcalfe Fair. On behalf of the Family Division, I invite you to visit the Family Pavilion during the fair and see the many entries from our talented exhibitors. You will see beautiful floral displays, culinary exhibits, hand-made crafts, group displays and creative entries in the Junior Division.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Fair President, Chris Reaney, along with his Executive and Board of Directors for a job well done. The Fair offers displays, exhibits and entertainment for all ages and interests. The Metcalfe Fair continues to offer an ever-expanding range of entertainment while staying true to our rural and agricultural roots. Please take the time to visit our livestock exhibits and shows, see local produce in the Agricultural Hall and visit the Barn Door for a glimpse of how local farmers deliver high quality agricultural products to consumers. At this time I would like to thank the many volunteers and sponsors who support the Fair throughout the year. Your commitment to the Fair and our rural community is truly appreciated.
