Canada Day 2008

Canada Day 2008 found us in the Village of Osgoode for the evening parade. Following a great parade, we went to the arena where presentations were made for the best decorated bicycles in the parade, and for the Osgoode slogan contest. Then we watched Dr. Ka-Boom entertain the kids.

Just before dusk, we headed over to the Community Centre in the Village of Greely to watch the fireworks display.  This year, the fireworks were set off electronically under computer control.  Our fireworks photos have been cropped in Photoshop to balance them up, but otherwise, they are pretty much as they came out of the camera.
