Congratulations to Betty McGowan, Laurie Ann Holmes, and their team for putting together a tremendous Santa Claus Parade on a very snowy December 13th. The parade assembled on Glen Street, and then meandered its way through the Village of Metcalfe and finished up at the Metcalfe Fairgrounds.
We took photos of the assembly on Glen Street, and then strolled to just south of the elementary schools on 8th Line Road for the parade. After Santa Claus passed by, we went to the party in the Community Centre Hall, where, as usual, Santa dropped by to chat with the kids. |
