The Metcalfe Agricultural Society held their Annual General Membership meeting in the Lion's Den on Saturday January 23rd, 2010, and elections were held to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors. Family Division met first at noon, and the MAS Annual meeting followed at 1:30 pm.

Two directors, Irma Gagne and Ann Velthuis, retired from the Family Division board. Barbara Clark, Sandra Toll, Jan Brown, and Patricia Barbosa became new Family Division board members. The Family Division Executive was given a second term of office.

Metcalfe Agricultural Society director Rick Coyle retired creating a vacancy on the main board.  The new director is Derrek Skuce. The Executive was given a second term of office.
Family Division held their meeting at noon.

Meredith Brophy, President of the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies (OAAS) brings greetings to the membership. Meredith is also a MAS director.
President Ron Stanley opened the meeting
and welcomed the membership and special guests
Councillor Doug Thompson brought greetings from the City of Ottawa.
