The Metcalfe Agricultural Society and Fair organizations across Ontario joined together on Saturday evening, January 16th, 2010, at the Metcalfe Community Centre to salute the outstanding work of Meredith Brophy.
Meredith is a Past President of the Metcalfe Agricultural Society Family Division and an active director on the main board. Her interests in Rural Fairs led her to the Regional and Provincial levels of the Ontario Agricultural Fairs industry. In 2009, she was elected Agricultural President of the Ontario Association of Agriculture Societies (OAAS). As President of the OAAS, Meredith has visited many of the Rural Fairs across the Province as well as attending meetings in every part of the Province.
