4-H is a big part of Metcalfe Fair.
The Vernon 4-H club holds their Achievement Day at the fair on Thursday. Then on Friday, the Carleton 4-H clubs hold their county Championship Shows to determine who returns on Saturday to compete with other county champions in the 4-H Regional Championship Show. The 4-H Regional Championship Show wraps up on Sunday with the 4H Regional Championship Horse Show. 4-H Field Crop exhibits are on display in the Agricultural Hall, and 4-H Lifeskills exhibits are displayed in the Family Pavilion.
