| The Modified Lawn Mower Tractor Pull Competition is a new event for 2007. Its originally planned Metcalfe Fair debut in 2006 was rained out. This Pull is promoted by the Goodtime Pullers Association, and was held at the south end of the fairgrounds on Sunday starting at noon.
As some of the pictures illustrate, this IS a noisy event. These machines are not your standard "pussyfoot" lawn tractors - they are modified to some extent for pulling power, and use snowmobile or motorcycle engines. |
