The Horse Pull competitions take place on Sunday afternoon and seems to be enjoyed by both horses and humans.  The horse pull traces it's history back to pioneer days - horse and man working to clear the land and haul logs out of the woods.  Today, we can still appreciate the immense  power of these beautiful animals.

There is zero tolerance for animal abuse in a horse pull - this is a competition of strength and skill.  In each class, the teams must pull a weighted sled through a measured distance to advance. At the end of a round, the weights are increased on the sled, and the teams pull again. Rounds continue until a winning team is determined.
