At 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening, the 4-H Steer and Lamb Auction was held in the Agri-View Building.
Comedian Paul Mussell was on hand to provide some opening entertainment. A huge crowd provided competitive bidding for the winning steers and lambs.
In keeping with the established tradition of previous years, the 4-Hers will be donating 1% of the sale to CHEO on the CHEO Telethon. Since 1988, the 4-H Steer and Lamb Club members have donated well over ten thousand dollars to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. |
