Dr Kaboom, a local area circus entertainer, was a new addition to Kidzland in 2008. Dr. Kaboom is a daredevil stilt walker, juggler, clown, unicyclist and circus ringmaster. He has been described by those who know him best as a madcap, zany performer. He has performed at major busker festivals as well as fairs, festivals and events around the province. During the school year Dr. Kaboom runs a circus workshop program for youth at risk in Ottawa.
Joining Dr Kaboom in Kidzland this year was Chris Cartier. Chris studied at the National Circus School of Montreal and he brings a wide range of talents to the Metcalfe Fair. Master of the trampoline, he instructs at a local gym as well as with Dr. Kaboom's youth circus. Chris displays his juggling skills with seven balls, clubs, rings, torches and other amusing or dangerous objects. He is a one man circus all by himself and a great addition to the Kaboom Krew. |
