| The Official Opening of the 2008 Metcalfe Fair was held in the arena. Following the ribbon-cutting and other formalities, the audience was treated to a "Birds of Prey" demonstration. Next, there was a children's feature, and finally a fund-raiser auction was held. The Presidents' Reception was held in the upstairs hall following the Official Opening. |
