When the gates open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings, one of the visitor's first stops is the Barn Door in the Agri-View Building. Kids and adults alike find the Barn Door a fun place to be. There's all sorts of things to see and do, animals and birds to touch and hold, and interesting people to talk to. This is a popular place, particularly with hundreds of elementary and intermediate students from Eastern Ontario schools who visit Metcalfe Fair on Friday.
In fact, the Barn Door is a very successful Agricultural Education Centre for Metcalfe Fair thanks to the continuing support of our personal and corporate sponsors. We all win through agricultural education. |
