The Metcalfe Agricultural Society held their Annual General Membership meeting in the Lion's Den on Saturday January 24th, 2009, and elections were held for a new Executive and to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors.

Three directors, Bonnie Mackie, Ruth Lafortune, and Nelda Isaac, retired from the Family Division board and Susan VanKwawegen became a new board member. Andrea Taylor moved to Past President of Family Division and Cheryl Sullivan moved up to President. Janet Mitchell became First Vice President and Melanie Racine was elected to Second Vice President.  Donna Koeniger stepped down as Secretary-Treasurer and was replaced by Andrea Taylor.

Metcalfe Agricultural Society directors Dan Morris, Cheryl Bunda and Bret Fitzsimmons retired creating a total of four vacancies on the main board.  The new directors are Andrea Taylor, Julie McDonald, Lorraine Robinson, and Keith Jeacle. Chris Reaney moved to Past President and Ron Stanley moved up to President of the Metcalfe Agricultural Society. Ben Fisher moved up to First Vice President, and Greg Bourbonnais was elected Second Vice President.

Chris Reaney passed the Presidency of the Metcalfe Agricultural Society
to Ron Stanley with a handshake following the elections
