| The Official Opening of the 2009 Metcalfe Fair was held in the arena. Betty Eastman presented Emerson Stanley with an Agricultural Service Diploma. OAAS Agricultural President Meredith Brophy, a Metcalfe Agricultural Society Director, cut the ribbon to officially open the fair. A fund-raiser auction followed, and then the 4-H held a "Farmers' Olympics" event. |
