| The Metcalfe Agricultural Society brought back the tradition of the "Society Ball" fundraisers of the past when it held "An Evening Garden Gala" on Saturday Evening, May 23, 2009. The event was held in the Agricultural Hall and was attended by a large crowd. Cocktails were served at six pm, and AJ's Catering prepared an excellent meal for 7 pm. After dinner, Diamond Heart took the stage to provide their fabulous musical entertainment for the evening; Helen, Michelle, and Ron were at the top of their musical form. Silent and live auctions were held with Erin James as auctioneer, and some great door prizes were awarded. |
