| Metcalfe Fair is Eastern Ontario's favourite agricultural fair because of the huge number of volunteers who pitch in to make it so. Volunteers make it happen, and the Metcalfe Fair is growing bigger and better every year. We welcome new recruits who want to help put on the fair or to assist with the maintenance of the fairgrounds throughout the year. Contact Al Stanley (grounds) or Rick Coyle (fair) for details. |

It's on the Bruce Peninsula in the town of Sauble Beach near Owen Sound. Sauble Beach Amusements Ltd is a totally independant company, and is not part of Robertson Amusements Ltd. The amusement park, now renamed Sauble Beach Fun World, was built in 1961 and has been renovated to meet the high safety standards demanded by the Robertson Family. It's open daily from noon to 10 pm from Canada Day through the Labour Day weekend. Jim'sPlayground.com This web site is our webmaster's new toy. Here, he displays some of his all time favourite photos, and lets you listen to some of his favourite old time radio shows. Other fun features, "Heavenly Humour" for one, are available as well. In an isolated area that you can't see, he tests ideas and programs that might eventually be used in the design and operation of our website and of our sister sites. |

The OAAS Convention pictures are now available in the Related Albums section of the Photo Gallery. The March meeting of the MAS Board of Directors has been changed to Monday, March 22. This will be our pot-luck supper meeting and the supper will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. The March meeting of the MAS Board of Directors will examine the proposed changes to the Constitution of the Metcalfe Agricultural Society that were announced at the Annual Meeting in January.
