The tradition of "Daphne's Dream Dinner Theatre" was continuted for 2006 as a fundraiser for Metcalfe Fair's 150th anniversary celebrations. Instead of the three small audience performances of the past, this year it was a one evening sellout event held in Ray Wilson Hall in the Metcalfe Community Centre. Patrons assembled at 6:30 pm for a fabulous country style roast beef dinner and an evening of hilarious entertainment presented by the "Scene Around Players".
Special thanks to all the volunteer cooks, caterers, and kitchen staff of the Metcalfe Agricultural Society, Desjardins Catering, Carsonby United Church, Bell Baker LLP, the Scene Around Players, and all who supported the 150 event by coming out for a great meal and entertainment. |
