| The Metcalfe Agricultural Society brought back the tradition of the "Society Ball" fundraisers of the past when it held the "Society Spring Soiree" on Saturday Evening, May 12, 2007. The event was held on the ice pad of the Metcalfe Community Centre and was attended by a sell-out crowd. Cocktails were served at six pm, and AJ's Catering prepared an excellent meal for 7 pm. After dinner, Diamond Heart took the stage to provide their fabulous musical entertainment for the evening; Helen, Michelle, and Ron were at the top of their musical form. Silent and live auctions were held with Erin James as auctioneer, and some great door prizes were awarded. |
